What is the City currently doing about these problems?

The City addresses stormwater problems in three ways. 

  • The City completed and utilized the Stormwater Comprehensive Plan to address prioritized stormwater issues through a capital projects improvement strategy. 
  • The City in wanting to provide excellent customer service responds to customer requests for investigation and solutions to localized urban flooding or water quality questions. 
  • The City also creates an annual Stormwater Management Plan that is submitted to department of Ecology that provides the community an annual opportunity to participate in targeting the priority stormwater problems.
