Fourth of July Celebration
Arlington’s July Fourth and Street Fair Hometown Celebration ignites July 2nd and continues through July 10th, 2022.
On Saturday, July 2, enjoy live music at Legion Park, downtown at 6pm with the Salt Grass Dirt Band. Take part in the Arlington Runner's Club “No Mask (run) Marathon” on your own. Head down to Haller Park on the Stillaguamish River and mingle in the Stilly Beer Garden. The beer and wine garden continues Sunday, July 3 and is hosting a cornhole tournament at 2pm. Haller Park is family friendly with a playground, splash pad, and access to trails and the river.
Monday, July 4th is a huge celebration in Arlington. The day begins with an outdoor community pancake breakfast at Haller Park, a fundraiser for Youth Dynamics. You can place bids on auction items from 8 to 10:30am at the Kiwanis Auction, also at the park. Athletes, amateurs and teams, compete in the Pedal Paddle Puff Triathlon, biking, paddling on the river and running, this is a traditional Arlington event. If your interested in less of a workout with or without kids, try the Foam 5k fun run at 9am also hosted at Haller Park.
Downtown the Old Fashioned Carnival invites families to play carnival games, enjoy bouncy houses, food and other activities at Legion Park with Lifeway Church from noon to 4pm. This leads into the Kiddies Parade on main street at 4:30, Olympic Avenue, and the Grand Parade at 5pm. The Grand Parade is Americana at its best. View tractors, dancing horses, log trucks, classic cars, community organizations... it's lots of fun and very patriotic.
During the day you will be offered Duck Dash tickets by Arlington Rotarians, a chance to win cash by purchasing tickets assigned to rubber duckies that float the river at 7pm. Watch thousands of duckies float to the finish line at Haller Park, where a winning duck is plucked from the river.
End the evening at Quake Park for the annual Fireworks show, sponsored by the City of Arlington. This is a great display at approximately 10 pm.
The fun continues on Friday, July 8 through Sunday July 10 with the Arlington Street Fair, presented by the Downtown Arlington Business Association.
The main street, Olympic Avenue, will be bustling with street vendors. A full line up of entertainment is planned on stage at Legion Park Friday through Sunday. Street fair hours are Friday and Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 10-3.
