Notice: Splash pad is closed due to COVID-19 until Phase 4.
The reasoning behind phase 4 is because Phase 3 allows for gatherings with no more than 50 people, and recreation facilities at 50% or less capacity. There is no way for us to control capacity at the splash pad, and it would attract more than 50 people.
We are currently understaffed in parks maintenance with several seasonal and one full-time position remaining unfilled and DOC work crews for landscape maintenance unavailable for the last several months and for the foreseeable future.
