Councilmember Roundy has a 12 year accounting career (2018) in government finance and audit. He works as a Senior Accountant for the City of Lake Stevens. Previously he worked as the Finance Director of the City of Mill Creek, Senior Accounting Analyst for Snohomish County, and an Auditor for the Washington State Auditor’s Office.
He is married to Laura and has two sons Mason (6 years old) and Bennett (3 years old). His in-laws own and operate a farm in Oso where the family spends a lot of time.
He enjoys playing basketball, working on home improvement projects, and helping on his father-in-law’s cattle farm.
He is a long term resident of Arlington, part of the time as a child and living here full time for the last five years. "We have strong roots in the community, as my wife’s grandmother built the house we live in downtown Arlington in the 1940s. It is thrilling and rewarding to be elected to Council and be part of helping shape this wonderful community we live in."
